WHO IS IT FOR?EVERYONE.

WE WERE NOT CALLED TO BLEND IN.

STANDARD was founded with a simple conviction: Jesus did not call His people to a lukewarm faith.

We believe Christians are called to be set apart—not removed from the world, and not superior to it, but transformed by Christ within it.

Some have turned Christianity into an aesthetic. Some practice it only because it is what they were raised to do. Some have encountered faith that felt fake, inaccessible, judgmental, cheesy, or disconnected from real life. Others simply do not believe.

STANDARD is not here to criticize people from a distance. We are here to build a community that returns to truth together.

WE ARE NOT CHANGING THE TRUTH TO MAKE IT EASIER TO ACCEPT.
WE ARE MAKING THE TRUTH CLEARER TO UNDERSTAND.

YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE.

For many people, YOLO has become permission: I know this is wrong, but I only live once.

STANDARD believes that first part is true. You only get one earthly life. That is exactly why this life matters.

Eternity is not detached from how we respond to Jesus now. Salvation is not earned by behaving well enough; it is received by grace through faith in Christ. But grace is not permission to reject Him, remain content in rebellion, and assume nothing about our lives needs to change.

THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STRUGGLING WITH SIN AND MAKING PEACE WITH IT.

THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FALLING AND REFUSING TO GET BACK UP.

WE DO NOT PURSUE HOLINESS TO EARN GRACE. WE PURSUE CHRIST BECAUSE GRACE HAS CALLED US TO HIM.

MORE WE

Christianity was never intended to be lived alone. STANDARD is a community.

We gather to worship, pray, study Scripture, serve, challenge one another, encourage one another, and remind each other of truth.

Nobody in STANDARD has perfectly met the Standard. When we fall short, we do not lower it to make ourselves comfortable. We repent, receive grace, grow, and keep pursuing Christ together.

The truth of Scripture does not need to change. Sometimes the way we communicate it does.

STANDARD uses modern communication, media, creativity, teaching, conversation, and gatherings to help people understand ancient truth in the language of the present—without rewriting Scripture for the comfort of the present.

This is the heart of STANDARD. We live in this world, love people in this world, and serve people in this world—but we refuse to let the world determine what is true.

THIS MOVEMENT IS OPEN.

EVERYONE HAS A PLACE TO PURSUE CHRIST.

STANDARD is based in Lafayette, Louisiana, but the movement is not limited by a city, an age group, a background, or a church tradition. We want people everywhere to get involved, grow in truth, serve others, and pursue Jesus in community.
