We confess that Jesus Christ is the Standard.
Not because we have chosen Him as one ideal among many, but because He is Lord. We are His creation, made for His glory, and our lives are not our own. We are stewards of what He has entrusted to us, called to live not for the approval of the world, but for the pleasure of God.
Scripture is our authority. Through it, God reveals His truth and teaches His people how to live beneath the lordship of Christ.
OBEDIENCE IS NOT EXTREME.
FAITHFULNESS IS NOT AN AESTHETIC.
CHRISTIANITY IS NOT A PERFORMANCE.
To follow Jesus is to surrender our whole lives to Him.
His Standard calls us to:
These are not passing values fashioned by a generation. They are marks of a people who belong to God.
CULTURE MAY CHANGE.
LANGUAGE MAY CHANGE.
METHODS MAY CHANGE.
THE STANDARD DOES NOT.
Therefore, STANDARD exists to make the truth and way of Jesus Christ clear and accessible across generations. We will speak ancient truth in the language of the present without altering its meaning for the comfort of the present.
We will remove barriers to understanding, not boundaries of truth.
We will pursue relevance without compromise, clarity without dilution, compassion without surrender, and conviction without arrogance.
When the world tells us to lower the Standard, we will look again to Christ.
When following Him costs us approval, we will choose obedience.
When we fall short, we will not redefine what is true. We will repent, receive His grace, and return to the One who is.
For we do not belong to ourselves.
